The holidays can be a stressful time for us all. Imagine the stress of having your child in the hospital during the holidays.
Your support of Berry Building Group’s efforts means the staff at James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital will have the resources to provide gifts for hospitalized children who are afraid Santa will not know where to find them. These toys and gifts allow Maynard Children’s Hospital to open “Santa’s Workshop” for parents to be able to come down to help select toys for their children. This helps lessen their anxiety by knowing that their children are still going to be able to experience the magic of Christmas.
Toys not used during the holiday season are then put aside and the staff has them readily available for children’s birthdays, end of chemotherapy parties or other milestone celebrations they may have as they are going through various treatments and procedures.
