A Charitable Gift Annuity is a contract between you and ECU Health Foundation. You make a gift of cash, securities, or other assets. In return, you become eligible to take a partial tax deduction of your donation, plus receive a fixed income stream from the Foundation for your lifetime. At the end of your life, The Foundation will receive the remainder of your gift.
A Gift Annuity contract can begin making payments immediately (Current Gift Annuity) or you can receive payments at a future date (Deferred Gift Annuity).
A Gift Annuity is a special type of donation that allows you to support your charity while providing regular income payments to you or someone you designate.
Payout rates are based on your age at funding.
A portion of the payments you receive may also be tax free based on your statistical life expectancy.
