Eastern NC...we heard you!
Due to the overwhelming outpouring of support and requests to help our ECU Health team members as they respond to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have set up the ECU Health Foundation Hero Fund!
We have been encouraged by the expressions of support from so many of you, such as ECU Health retirees, business owners and community members and leaders, who want to show appreciation to our front line healthcare workers who are working tirelessly and sacrificing time away from their families to help care for all of eastern North Carolina.
Donations to the ECU Health Foundation Hero Fund will be used to provide front line healthcare workers with items such as gift cards to local businesses/restaurants and meals that will keep them well-nourished, refreshed and rejuvenated during the weeks ahead.
We want to show all those who are saving lives and helping communities the appreciation they so very deserve. In doing this, it is our goal to support local economies by partnering with local businesses across all of eastern North Carolina during this time of great need.
*Donations will not be used to pay salary or other employment benefits provided by ECU Health.
